My Story:

From Classroom Teacher to Entrepreneur

At my heart, I am an educator. Before founding I Love Learning, I enjoyed a 20 year career as an Elementary Teacher, Special Educator, and Disability Advocate. While I absolutely adored my work, I noticed that many children were struggling to learn to read. This led to me pursuing my Dyslexia Practitioner Certification and Orton-Gillingham Training and establishing I Love Learning as a private education practice in 2019. It is my love for learning that leads me to continuously seek out the most up to date research and knowledge in the field of literacy. This is the same love for learning I hope to instill in my students by unlocking their most vital tool to becoming lifelong learners…literacy!
