How I Can Support You and Your Child in Your Quest For Literacy?
The I Love Learning Process
As your partner in all things education and literacy, I will begin by assessing what your child already knows about the five areas of literacy, phonological awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension. Using this information, I will create a Comprehensive Literacy Intervention Plan specific to your child’s needs. Then, as we work through building a solid foundation, your child will soon be excited about reading, asking you to read, and taking on harder and harder tasks at school with ease and confidence.
My instruction is evidence-based, using the latest in brain research and based on the fact that reading is not a natural skill, but a skill that is only acquired through direct, explicit, and systematic instruction.

Our Values
Compassion
I Love Learning supports you and your child in an encouraging, kind and positive way. Recognizing how the struggle for literacy can impact both you and your child individually and your family as a whole.
Empowerment
We recognize the unique needs of each child, which helps them build their self esteem and sense of belonging in their classroom, ultimately empowering your child to reach their full potential.
Joy
In the same way that learning and literacy bring joy to me, I want to bring that same joy and love of learning to your child’s life.
Transparency
We prioritize building a trusting partnership with parents, families, and their children by bringing reliability, communication, and collaboration into our programs.
Inclusivity
We provide support for all students. We acknowledge that your child is unique, perhaps grew up in a multicultural/multilingual home, or may have been diagnosed with learning disabilities, dyslexia and/or ADHD.
